I have been reading up a lot on my history and came across an interesting woman, her name was Marie Laveau and she was a Voodoo Queen that lived in New Orleans throughout the 18th century. She was VERY popular and it is said that til this day, her grave is visited more frequently than Elvis! Here is a link to her bio.
